MOTHER MOLD MAKING
Wisdom design team know the contemporary design elements & inter'l fashionable trends well, also adoting the design idea with naturalism and simplism; Once a new ceramic planters or vases has been designed and the original model has been hand-made, a mother mould is created in plaster, built around the model to accurately bring out every detail. The precious work of design is thus synthesised in the mother mould, destined to preserve the original forms over the years.
THE CASTING
The casting technique is the ideal method for handcrafted ceramic planters or decor to obtain replicable articles with precise and complex shapes. The liquid clay is poured into plaster moulds, whose porosity allows the absorption of water and the solidification of a layer of clay. Once the mould has been emptied of excess clay, it can be opened so that the still raw ceramic planters or decor can be removed. This process improve the production efficiency and gurantee different shape can be made and the planter or decor are almost the same after take out of from the mould
THE CUTTING
When we open the mould and take out of the ceramic planters or vases, it is the orginal ceramic biscuits, we need to cut the mouth one by one by hand；The common thread of every Wisdom creation is the meticulous attention to every detail. In order to create works of art that pursue beauty, it is crucial that every single step is done with precision. The application of the brand “Wisdom Made in China” is one of those crucial details that enhances and brands the craftsmanship of the work.
THE POLISHING
After cutting the mouth by hand, Each ceramic planters or decor is polished to correct its imperfections and mould line, it make the surface smooth and uniform. The artisans, guided by passion and experience, know how to enhance every piece thanks to a conscious use of the available tools. Anyway,we pay attention to each production process to gurantee the quality and the design soul of each product;
THE COLORING
Wisdom has a department in its workshop dedicated to make the colour, our color desginer formulated the color, then our special workers spray the color on each ceramic planters or vases; All our products are glazed inside for waterproof, we spray different glaze color outside of products by hand, after this, they will be put on the oven for firing, the different and stable color will be on the products after1180 degree temerprature in the oven.
THE OVEN & FIRING
The last step of production that the material is ennobled and is transformed from raw clay into vitrified stoneware through important chemical and physical transformations. Through the firing cycle, which reaches 1180°C, ceramic is compacted, thus assuming excellent characteristics of waterproofness and hardness when take out of from the oven. Also we use the pipeline gas to fire our ceramic planter or vase, which is environment protected and safe;
FINISHED PRODUCT
Some of our ceramic planters or decor need to make 2-3 times for the mixed color, This particular mixed color workmanship combined with influences form cultures of the Middle East, Africa and Asia inspired elements are the bases of the uniqueness of our designs, creating worlds within worlds.
